Exploring the realms of consciousness
Seeking the greater power is an important part of our Twelve Steps program. Members are not required to accept a specific notion of the greater power, but are encouraged to develop their own unique perspectives. All men are created equal, and everyone has the ability connect on a spiritual level. We hope to inspire the masses to reach spiritual enlightenment on their own terms and through their own means.
Every great spiritual instructor had useful and practical knowledge that remains relevant today; but the laws of nature are gripped by evolution. Systems of beliefs that leave no room for change work against the fundamental laws of the universe. The N.A.G. encourages all to develop your own personal paths to a higher power and inspire others through your works and in your deeds.
“Enlightened” people are like my most annoying pet peeve of all…. And I’m not talking about religion or monks or anything like that! I’m talking about wannabe do gooders who read a few Mantras and immediately convince themselves that they are “Enlightened” and then go forth and try to condescend everyone into becoming just as “Enlightened” as they are….
Lemme tell you something…. There’s a whole lot more to “Enlightenment” than just simply remaining calm at all costs, mkay! Humans have a whole realm of emotions, all of which serve a purpose! Anybody who goes around judging people for actually expressing their realm of emotions is so far from enlightened it’s going to take brain surgery to get your there in this lifetime, because in your “Enlightened State” you are only capable of expressing two emotions, happy and happy, and I’m sorry but that’s NOT HUMAN!
