Legalization of narcotics could literally change everything. Rather than spending billions to lock people up, we could spend that money to improve our communities. Every time our government confiscates a load of narcotics, millions of dollars are wasted, and the load is quickly replaced with more narcotics that are grown with unsustainable environmental practices. Legalization of marijuana could provide unmeasurable environmental and societal rewards. Our focus for this topic is to examine the benefits of legalization.

Set aside the fact that the drug war is unconstitutional, and what we have left is an illogical ideology that causes more harm than good. Not only are we allowing a bunch of lying, racist bigots to oppress everyone they deem as “undesirable,” but we are effectively raising up a nation of people who do drugs and lash out at society because they have no respect for a society that shits on them left and right. Our focus for this topic is to expose the havoc that criminalization of narcotics wreaks upon society. We will explore the history of prohibition, the Contra-Cocaine conspiracy, and our overpopulated jailing system.

Criminalization of narcotics is unconstitutional and rooted in the bowels of oppression. The Constitution is a contract that binds The People to the United States Government. When a contract is broken, the agreement is voided and the offender must pay a fine. Our focus for this topic is to prove the case of compensation for damages caused by the drug war so we can legalize narcotics, pay drug dealers to stop dealing, get people out of jail, and furthermore use the profits to improve our communities.
